The Japan Adventure Begins

Greeting all.  The great Japan adventure began with a long wait at O'hare. Fortunately I found a great spot to relax that was good enough to relax in.

Hey, I understand TED is a low cost carrier but running operations out of a double wide photohut is a little over the top.. or is that just me?

TED Opertations? Interesting.

Nice comfy place to stay the Mitsui Garden Hotel.

Small, though very typical for Tokyo.  There is over 30 million people here.

Small but very comfortable.

Toilet was very nice.. heated seat. Very clean place. One block from the JR station

and close to many major interest points.

Went to the "Lock Up" this night, a themed restaurant. As you can probably guess..a prison was the theme.

Was up for 28 hours total the first day..
